THE ASSOCIATION

La Porta is a non-profit cultural association only for women and lesbians. The association wants to promote the culture, knowledges, wellbeing, magic, harmony with themselves and other women. It wants to facilitate the transmission of feminist culture and the practice of a sharing based on interculture, creativity and respect of differences.

In order to participate in initiatives and to stay overnight, it’s necessary buying the annual association-card that is a low-cost card.

Economic resources come from annual cards, voluntary contributions and from the contributions for activities and events. These are used to bear management costs of the place.

For us is also important to valorize economically the work of women artists, spokeswomen, women teachers, who offer their knowledges to other women.

WHAT WE DO AT LA PORTA

Reiki, qi gong, Chinese sticks, self-defense, dance, music, art therapy, shiatsu, astrology, tarots, sauna, magical rites, farming, book presentations, theatre, painting, debates, parties, concerts, dinners under the stars, bonfires, excursions, walks under the full moon, arboriculture, archery, tree climbing, knowledge and use of wild medicinal plants, do it yourself, camping, readings, films, and so on...
