LA PORTA OF THE TIASO

In the 2009 we have embarked on the path to realize the dream of creating a Thiaso.
What is a Thiaso?
Do you remember the school/community of Sappho?

The Thiaso is a place where women can re/create a healthier life, a micro-society of lesbians and women that allows to come out of isolation and to learn from each others. It is a place where women can combine their talents in order to multiply ideas, projects, meetings, cre-actions and resources.

ORGANIC DIET

We want to plan an organic vegetable garden that provides to women a healthy and best diet. In this moment we are studying the philosophy and the practice of permaculture.

HOME PURCHASE AND RENEWABLE ENERGIES

Our biggest project is buying the house and the surrounding wood to become the definitive guardians of the place and to build a land of lesbians and women.

We would like to provide the structure of natural and non-polluting energy derivated from natural sources that can make us autonomous. For this reason we are planning to install solar pannels. 

We want to renovate the barn too, respecting and preserving the beauty and antiquity of the place. This space will be used to play activities during cold seasons.
